Description

My name is Virginia, I’m an international student from Italy in my fourth semester at RVCC. Three years ago, I left Tuscany for the U.S. and this move marked the beginning of a personal transformation, helping me rediscover my true self after a challenging period during the pandemic.
Living in the United States has given me the chance to follow my passions, like traveling (I've visited 25 states so far), photography (a talent I've nurtured since childhood), and meeting new people. I am deeply passionate about Graphic Design and anything that involves creating visually compelling and thoughtful solutions. The ability to communicate ideas through visuals has always fascinated me, and I’m excited to explore this field further. Alongside my creative interests, I’ve always been involved in sports, practicing Judo for nine years and currently training in Brazilian Jiujitsu. As I continue my academic journey, this project serves as a significant milestone in my pursuit of becoming a skilled designer. It not only allowed me to combine my personal experiences and cultural background into the work, but it also challenged and enabled me to push the boundaries of my creative abilities. Through this project, I further developed my skills in typography, image making, and visual branding, while also connecting with my roots and preparing for a future in the creative industry.
