Description
Ayla Carthy - I am hoping to become a great teacher of grade school children and helping them to become the best they can be. For this project, I was on a great team that worked together and created a project showing how events in our nation's history shaped the teaching world today.
Jenna Dolan - In my free time I love to read, spend time with family and go on beach trips as often as possible. I originally started school as a forensic science major, but starting working with children which influenced my goal of one day becoming an elementary school teacher. I plan on including this open pedagogy project as an artifact in my teaching portfolio.
Emily Marie Matos - Our group’s goal with this project is to educate others of what has occurred in the history of the education world in order to make sense of why some things are the way they are today in terms of school, teaching, and learning.
Maritza Reyes-Jimenez - I am a first-generation Mexican American college student. My goal is to become a Kindergarten or 1st-grade teacher. Throughout my education, I've had supportive teachers, and I would like to help future generations of students through innovative and diverse methods. This project helps me and other pre-service teachers examine significant past and current acts of education. It helps us understand how education has evolved.
