I'm a proud Chicana girl who is pursuing work in the Early Childhood Education field. From a young, I knew that I wanted to contribute to my community, especially my low-income Latino community. I knew the struggle that Latino families had to go through because I experienced it myself. With the help of my parents and teachers, I was able to surpass that obstacle. I will forever be thankful for the community that pushed me to have a better quality of life.
