Description

I love visual media and art in all respects. In middle school, I could volunteer at a church and man a black magic camera for the first time, while my dad would take me on photoshoots to assist him. Cameras and tech surrounded me and it has never left me. I now am my own photographer and videographer doing weddings/parties and my own videos for personal reasons. I also always had a love for writing for myself. I never really expressed my opinions or my thoughts to people so id write them in poetry or record notes for myself as if it was going to talk to an audience. I also now work for that church with newer cameras and am the producer of each Sunday service and their tech guy. I work in tech now as an A/V installer for commercial buildings. This video was just something I wanted to do to express my thoughts about the project I did. It's what I enjoy doing.
The project was an Unessay (A project that can be anything and doesn't need to be an essay). We were tasked with going to a field, learning about the culture there, and writing field notes. After writing the field notes, our project could be about anything with the fieldsite in mind. I chose to make a commentary type of video.
